His expertise spans across managing financial and commercial operations, leading hotel pre-openings, and driving profitability for both branded and independent properties.

Currently serving as the Group Commercial Finance Manager, UK for one of our clients, Umar has been instrumental in establishing and leading the company’s finance function across the UK. He played a pivotal role in setting up the finance department from the ground up, implementing robust group-wide procedures and reporting frameworks. In addition to finance, he oversees group purchasing, ensuring consistent and strategic procurement agreements across their portfolio.
